8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
How many times do we know the right thing to do, yet we CHOOSE the wrong thing and then try to justify it?
We need to know and apply the values of God.
Galatians 5:19-20 (New International Version)
19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions.21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Circumstances may change, but our values should not.
What you value; speaks alot about who you are.
In Daniel Chapter 3 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego remained faithful to God. Thay stuck to their values in times of extreme pressure.
I pray you make the choice to be faithful to God and honor the values He's set forth in His Word.
